The word excel can mean something different to every person. I think when someone excels they have something about them that makes a certain skill or class come easy to them. I believe that I excel at Chinese. This year the 9th grade class did a Chinese rap project. This was a project where we had to create a rap song in Chinese accompanied by a music video. To create the lyrics to the song we used basic expressions learned in class. My group decided to use our extra knowledge in Chinese from our other Chinese class we had taken before. Some artifacts of my group and my excellence are our Chinese vocabulary script  and our pinyin script. ( You can find the scripts below. ) These scripts show how I excelled because it shows some of the new words I taught them that we used in our project. It shows how I had some extra knowledge and was able to apply it to my work.
