My 9th Grade Self

In August when I first started 9th grade I was starting to learn the importance of my grades. I learned this importance through realizing that if I want a good job then I need to get into a good college, which requires hard work. I was having a hard time in 8th grade getting myself to do homework, causing me to make bad grades. After my 8th grade year I decided my ultimate goal for 9th grade was to make all A’s and B’s. I have been passing that goal up until now and believe I can continue to do it. At the beginning of the year, it was harder to make A’s and B’s then it is now. After forcing myself to do my work with the motivation of wanting to go to China this summer I have made those grades. Throughout the year, I have realized that if I work hard I can achieve the goals I want to. I think with the grades I am making now I am definitely ready for 10th grade.
