Language Learning

I have always been a big fan of languages. Ever since I was young I have been speaking two languages. My interest in languages sparked in my High School Chinese class. After beginning Chinese I wanted to learn even more languages, I began Japanese and it spiraled from there. Now, I’m teaching myself 14 languages in addition to Chinese classes. Altogether, I’m learning 15 languages.

In Chinese class, there was a project where we had to give students from china a tour of our school to show them the difference between Chinese and American schools. In this project we vlogged a day-in-the-life at school. A way to see my interest in Chinese is to look at my Chinese video project. You can see my energy and happiness to speak the language. Another thing is my grades in Chinese. I always pass with a A or High B. One more thing is how much I know, you cannot be good at something without interest. My teacher has told me I’m the best in the grade at Chinese. I’m very dedicated to learning languages, I love them.

As you can see, I love learning languages. My interest in them peaking thanks to my Chines Class at the Dayton Regional STEM School. I’m thankful for the beautiful art of languages and culture. I’m glad I got to start Chinese at STEM.
